piñata!

last week was courtenay's 21st birthday. on tuesday i headed over for dinner with her family and some piñata fun:

then on the weekend we had a bbq with a few friends. the weather was spectacular. it has been this whole week in fact. i actually feel as though we should still be in summer, not autumn.
oh brisbane, i don't know if i will ever get used to your weather patterns.

although autumn is my favourite season and i am really missing these beautiful, deciduous trees on our street in sydney:

i'm not complaining, because these warm, sunny days sure are nice too.

anyway, happy birthday for last week, my dear! you are one special person.
