it wouldn't matter if we spent two days in perth or two months, it's never long enough. i love that place and i love its people.
saturday is sport day at my aunty's house, so i got to watch two of my cousins play basketball at their local club/stadium.
(they both got a goal too, woohoo!)
anika and lara (the older two) both had work + school and uni work, so we didn't get to spend as much time together as desired. but we got snippets in between, which was just wonderful. sometimes it's the little things that are the best.
i love that i get to be a part of their day to day.
it's just so great to be with them!

then saturday night was dinner at the esplande hotel with the crosby side. as mentioned in my last post, some of these cousins i hadn't seen in years. so it was wonderful to catch up, meet new girlfriends/boyfriends/fiancees and just be in their company.
we celebrated eighty years of a wonderful woman.
it often takes me a couple of days to recover from our perth trips. there's so much activity and emotion that it's always a whirlwind.
a very good whirlwind though.
